About the NoCo Arts Fest

The North Country Arts Festival brings the North Country community together to celebrate the arts. This month-long, county-wide event encourages tourism and economic activity throughout St. Lawrence County by showcasing our arts industry, a critical component of our regional identity. Popular events, such as Artists’ Studio Tour, Potsdam PorchFest, and the Remington Arts Festival will be held within the time-frame of the NoCo Arts Fest, as well as smaller events such as classes, workshops and open mic nights.

Artists Studio Tour

For the North Country Arts Festival, Artists Studio Tour has been revamped to take place in artists’ home studios across the county, a tradition for the past 34 years.

Arts Festival

The North Country Arts Festival will finish with the Remington Arts Festival, a Canton community event commemorating the birth of Frederic Remington, held during St Lawrence University’s Laurentian Weekend.

The North Country Arts Festival will bring Potsdam PorchFest back for an encore performance; this musical event takes place on individuals’ porches in Potsdam and Canton residential neighborhoods.
