Women of the North Country Speaker Series: Kayla Riley

Join SLC Arts as we celebrate women in the North Country!  Come hear the stories of our neighbors and learn about living and thriving up north.

The suggested donation is $5, pay what you can, or bring a personal hygiene/cleaning item, a portion of the proceeds and all items will be donated to the Renewal House. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. PRIORITY ITEMS: bath towels, wash cloths, bedding, size 5 & 6 diapers, shampoo, conditioner, women’s razors.

Kayla Riley has lived in Potsdam since 2000 and has since made this vibrant community her home. As an educator and writer, she is deeply passionate about fostering knowledge, creativity, and connection. In addition to her professional endeavors, Kayla balances her life as a single mother, finding inspiration and strength in her dual roles. Her love for the Potsdam community is at the heart of everything she does, whether in the classroom, through her writing, or in her day-to-day life.
