Description: Twenty-four watercolor illustrations created for Harriet’s Big Adventure, a children’s book by Glenn Guiles about a miniature donkey that gets out of her pen and goes on an unguided walk.
Raymond is resident of South Colton and an Art Educator at Parishville-Hopkinton Central School. He has a Masters of Fine Arts from Cranbrook Academy of Art, MI and currently works in ceramics, painting and printmaking. Raymond has illustrated several children’s books for local authors and he enjoys outdoor activities.
Whalen’s art will be on display at the SLC Arts Gallery at the Potsdam Town Hall, 18 Elm Street, through March 3rd. The exhibit and opening are free and open to the public, and wheelchair accessible. The Gallery is open during Town Hall business hours, Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
