Fiber Arts 2020
October 28 - December 16FREE
Fiber art can be wearable or not, practical or decorative, and use natural or synthetic fibers. It can incorporate techniques such as weaving, knitting, knotting, twining, plaiting, coiling, pleating, lashing, and interlacing, among many others. SLC Arts welcomes submissions of work in all media that fits the theme of this exhibit. We will select works for the show after we have received all of the submissions.
Please note: 3-dimensional work is accepted if it can be displayed in a shadowbox – artist must supply shadowbox. Town Hall gallery exhibits are hung using S-hooks on a picture rail – please use strap hangers or very stable eye screws towards the top of your frame, no wire needed. All artists exhibiting their work must be SLC Arts Members at the time of the exhibit. Memberships are only $35, and may be purchased at the time of entry.
