Ages 14-Adults, Max 5 students. Have you always wanted to improve your singing voice, but are put off by the time commitment of weekly lessons? This is the class for you. Spend some time learning about vocal technique in simple terms, including posture, breathing, diction, and resonance. Then put that knowledge to immediate use with a song of your choosing in a safe, friendly group class environment. This 2-hour workshop is designed for solo and choral singers alike. All levels and song styles welcome.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle, a pencil, and 2 copies of your song. An accompanist will be provided.
Heather Ferlo, a Crane graduate, began her musical journey with piano school at age 5, and continued on to community theatre productions. Ms. Ferlo enjoys helping her students find musical ways to creativity, expression, coordination and communication. Originally from Ballston Spa, she now resides in the North Country, sharing her gifts and teaching students of all ages in private lessons and through Musical Way Academy, The Holy Name of Jesus Academy and St. Lawrence University.
