Knife painting is the best way of learning to paint in a loose style, and produces absolutely eye-catching effects. This class is suitable for all skill levels, you can be an absolute beginner wanting to plunge into the art world or be an experienced artist wanting to explore a new painting technique. This class will take you through the basics from using a palette knife to creating your own piece of art using awesome abstract painting effects and styles. You will leave this class with one or two paintings, feeling confident in your new technique and excitement towards creating brand new work of your own!
Materials List: 1-2 canvas boards (8x 10 or 11x 14) , Acrylic or oil paint (acrylic preferred because of dry time) – at least Black, white, yellow, red, blue, green (and any others you might have) Palette knife (metal of plastic) – I will have some available to use Brushes of various sizes for touch up (I will have some) Container for water if using acrylic paint.
