$19 members | $24 non-members Ages 13-Adults. Max 8 students. Working in charcoal is a great way to develop drawing skills. This class will provide a base understanding of the drawing techniques of proportion and value development. Students will work on several warm-up drawings and then a final still life.
Materials List: charcoal drawing paper or sketchbook paper (11×14, or any size up to 12×18), can be colored or white; vine (willow) charcoal; compressed charcoal; compressed charcoal pencils; white charcoal (optional – more necessary for colored paper); erasers; kneaded erasers; and wear comfortable clothing that is okay to get messy in.
