Vocal Explorations: With Samantha Stinson

Have you always wanted to improve your singing voice, but are put off by the time commitment of weekly lessons? This is the class for you. Spend some time learning about vocal technique in simple terms, including posture, breathing, diction, and resonance. Then put that knowledge to immediate use with a song of your choosing in a safe, friendly group class environment. This 2-hour workshop is designed for solo and choral singers alike. All levels and song styles welcome. Join us!
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle, a pencil, and 2 copies of your song. An accompanist will be provided. Class limit: 5 participants
Samantha Stinson is a dynamic crossover artist and educator. She regularly performs in operas, musicals, recitals, and concerts throughout the U.S., and maintains an active private voice and piano studio. In the area, Samantha has performed with Potsdam Music Theater at CPS, the Orchestra of Northern New York (ONNY), the Crane faculty and guest recital series, the University of Ottawa, and the Fall Island Vocal Arts Seminar. She is currently a doctoral candidate in Voice Performance at the renowned University of Cincinnati College – Conservatory of Music.
